The school holidays are here! Trying to figure out how to keep the kids occupied over the summer can be difficult but Morpeth has many little activities going on that will make sure they are happy.
Local children’s charity Barnabas, are providing a whole summer of fun with Morpeth Town Council. The summer activites will kick off on Tuesday 26th July and will be sure to create some happy little faces!
The events are for 9-13 years olds and all sessions are £2 per child per session. The list of events kicks off with paddlesports, circus skills, art activities and mixed sports. See the full itinerary below:

Fun Little Foodies Morpeth provides interactive cookery classes for children aged 2 – 12 years. They are doing 90 minute cookery classes on the August 4th, 11th and 18th where they will be making many delicious sweet treats.
They are also holding an around the world summer camp that will be held on 16th August. The 6 hour Summer Camp Session includes 2 recipes, one of which will be making lunch, crafts, games and much more. This is for children aged 5 years and older and is drop off only.

Carlisle Park is full of fun for the kids this summer. The paddling pool will be sure to cool them down in the summer heat after having some fun at the play park. Why not take them for a boat ride along the River Wansbeck and see what wildlife you can spot.
