Morpeth Town Council is returning once again with its much-loved free family fun day culminating with lights switching-on across the town on November 15.
With a whole host of activities for all the family, from midday on Bridge Street, residents and visitors can enjoy funfair rides, face painting and photographs in the snow globe, all for free.
On top of this, there’ll be mouthwatering street food and a full schedule of live entertainment and games all across the afternoon, hosted by BBC Newcastle’s Matt Bailey.
The day will close with the big man himself, as Santa, the Mayor and a competition winner take to the stage to officially light up Morpeth at 5pm and kick off the Christmas countdown.
